Between 2008 and 2010, Singapore-based WOHA Architects completed 13 new projects, all of them significant buildings.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Selected Projects Volume 1\u00a0details each of those buildings, and is introduced by a series of essays, which examine the theoretical evolution and practical experience that underpin the work of such influential architects.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This large monograph also features lengthy interviews with Wong Mun Summ and Richard Hassell of WOHA, in which they explain the strategies that lie behind each of their designs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The selected projects include Bras Basah MRT Station, The Met apartments, Stadium MRT Station, Alila Villas Uluwatu, iluma, Sanya Intercontinental, and Singapore’s School of the Arts.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Each project is extensively documented with photographs and drawings, and the book comprises a remarkable selection of buildings by an architectural practice whose work had just gained maturity and would shortly receive worldwide renown.<\/p>\n
