Schirin studied architecture at RWTH Aachen and ETH Zurich and graduated in 2000. She moved from her native country, Germany, to Singapore in 2005, and has been with WOHA since.
Within WOHA, Schirin has led many teams in design and documentation stages of a variety of projects, including the award winning Genexis Theatre and Ogilvy & Mather Interior Fit-Outs as well as the Crowne Plaza Hotel Extension at Changi Airport, WOHAs first project using PPVC methodology. She has managed and coordinated large and diverse consultancy teams.
Aside from project work, Schirin has been an invited speaker at seminars, a guest crit at the National University Singapore and prepared several exhibition and congress contributions for WOHA.
Schirin was made a director of the firm in December 2017 and has been working as WOHA’s COO since.
